WBC -- is anybody watching?
It's hardly on a par with the World Cup or the Olympics, but is anybody watching Bud Selig's World Baseball Classic? If you aren't, you missed an epic upset today when the Netherlands, known best for its speedskaters, beat the Dominican Republic 3-2. This is tantamount to the Cambodians beating the USA in basketball. And the USA-Canada tilt was a great game, too.
I have looked at the scores and watched a little of the games.
To me it's something that is meaningless.
Right now, you're absolutely right.

As meaningless as these games may be, that Venezuela v. Puerto Rico game last night was absolutely fantastic.
