    have been able to go to 3 live games this summer...hopefully more next season.

    I love football..Aussie Rules Football...the kind of football that makes you think in 3 dimensions...doesnt envolve an ambulance, being rushed to emergency whenever some physical contact is initiated...has high scores on any given day...and can end in a draw...

    To each their own...after the fast and furiousness of My game..."Soccer" as we non-followers call it...seems pedestrian...and frustratingly slow.


    Wembly on the last day of the year must be a magnificent place to be for followers....hell..I like to watch a contest between the best like anyone...

    Gridiron...puts you to the ultimate contact test...and I admire the toughness of its players...chess on a field it maybe...but hell....dying for your side is a possibility!...Aussie Rules....has you flat-out for 120 minutes....responsible for your direct opponant...not a moments rest...you need toughness to ride the bumps..agility to evade being killed...endurance to be able to give of your best at the end when it counts...

    Maybe Soccer has the same attributes....but that "Off-Side Rule"...kills the game....for me..an artificial stop on attackers...if you beat some side in their attacking zone by being better skilled....being penalized for scoring when they cant defend....has got me gum-booted.

    happy to watch a few Aussie Kickers in the Gridiron games....even happier than most to watch Aussie Rules Football...

    Happy to let the rest watch what they want.
