Default Greatest sporting event you attended

What's the greatest sporting event you ever attended in person?

In 2005, I was at the Regional Final between my Illini against Arizona. Arizona had fifteen point lead with four minutes remaining, the winner to go to the Final Four. Illinois came back to tie it in regulation and win it in overtime. Simply put, it was the most thrilling game I've ever attended in person.

I have been to a few Devils play off games over the years....but I did go to a Devils vs Rangers game when messier was still playing....we won and I yelled at the top of my lungs as the crowd quieted down "hey messier, ya need a diaper change to go with that whining/"....lol
I've gotten to see the best goalie in hockey live.....

Yup, the same one where if James Augustine so much as breathed, the refs whistled him for a foul, while they let the incomparable Sean May bull his way through the defense while they swallowed their whistles.

The same UNC team that had four first round picks in the NBA draft, while the Illini had two...

And for all this, and no matter how badly Illinois played (which it did), they lost by five points. MSU basically played a home game two weeks ago and got torched.

I was at the second Brick Yard 400. Was too big to see the whole thing. Would like to see a smaller race track like Bristol or Martinsville.
