    Question Are You Fashion Conscious?

I am talking mainly about clothing and apparel, but if you want to include things like cell phones, cars, etc, that's ok too. This is something I wonder about sometimes.

Personally, I couldn't care less about what the current fashion is for just about anything. I know what I like and what is comfortable for me. If you were to see me on the street somewhere I'd most likely be wearing a T-shirt or some sort of pull-over shirt, denim shorts, and tennis shoes. If it's cold the only difference would be jeans and a jacket.

I have no problem with people who are fashion conscious. It's just not something I concern myself about. My feeling is I have more important things to do than worry about what other people are wearing or whether someone likes what I have on. That's just me.

How about you guys? What do you think about fashion? Ladies, this should be right up your alley...lol!!

(Yes, a few of you may recognize this poll. I posted it somewhere else once. People seemed to enjoy it, so I thought I'd bring it over here for you guys to have fun with.)

    No, never followed fashion.
Wear what suits me, what feels comfortable and what fits the day and what I'm doing.

I'm with soul on this one. I dress appropriately for my age and body shape. What's in fashion is not usually what looks good on me and if it doesn't look good on me I don't look good and certainly don't feel good.
Besides, keeping up with fashion is too draining on the mind as well as the bank balance.

Blame it on the military, but I think you should dress according to the situation at hand. People judge and react, 95% of the time based on how someone looks, and if you are in a professional or similar situation and don't take advantage of that, then you are fooling yourself. I also do not confuse true style with people who chase labels. Just because someone is wearing a Prada jacket, or shoes doesn't mean the person has style (or class for that matter.)
As a function of that, I am very fashion conscious of what I wear when I have to "dress-up". It is a simple matter of feeling that I look good or attractive, and it makes me more confident when I am in "those" types of environments. It is also something I appreciate in a woman; someone who can dress well, or shows an element of style and class, I find to be *very* attractive, and certainly sexy.
Having said that, my favorite thing to wear is jeans and a t-shirt, or a polo shirt. A guy's got to be comfortable you know :)
The perfect cherry blossom is a rare thing. It is said you could spend your entire life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life.
Only in death, do we realize that they are all perfect.

I love clothes, but then again, I'm not willing to pay much for them! LOL

I dress appropriately for the occasion... I rather buy one good dress (which could be expensive) that looks good on me rather than 10 dresses that do nothing for me...

I care enough to not look foolish, however I don't follow trends. I tend to find things that work well for my body type and skin tone and stick to that.

Yes. I follow some trends, but I like to have my own look and now be a slave to it.
