2010 FIFA World Cup
Everyone here knows that I'm crazy about soccer, and I'm really excited about the World Cup next year!
The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international soccer (football for some of us) tournament.
It is scheduled to take place in June in South Africa. 32 teams or countries are qualified for the final tournament..
So, who would win the World Cup? who will be the best players?
Of course, I’m rooting for the U.S team, but they are not a strong team, so these are my favorites:
Brazil
Argentina
England
Germany
Spain
France
Italy
Does anyone hope for an African breakthrough for the beautiful game?
the time is still not here for an African team to win, Ghana and the Ivory Coast will probably be the teams who'll do best. whether Cameroon are up to it after a poor African nations cup who knows.
Spain and Brazil will be the teams to beat and probably a good showing by England and you cannot rule out Germany or Italy.
but sadly an African nation is not there yet.
Will any of them make the knock out rounds?
I don't think so, but you never know...
Can't wait for the Cup, four months more...
